As we enter into the fall season, we are excited to begin a new sermon series through the book of 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians is actually a letter written by the apostle Paul to the church located in Corinth and in this letter he addresses a number of different topics and issues. The church in Corinth was dealing with quite a few challenges that were causing some chaos and confusion within the church, and Paul was very concerned that many of their actions and beliefs were out of step with the gospel.
Of the many things we will learn by walking through this important New Testament book, we will see that being united in the Gospel is of utmost importance for any church that seeks to provide light and hope in the midst of a dark and confused world!
